Remember to keep a 2 meter safe distance when at the store.

Some easy steps to get you guys sorted with all the equipment you need and safely. 

1. Contactless payment method
2. Go to our website (www.sunsetsurfnewquay.co.uk)
3. Select Surf Hire
4. Find wetsuits, accessories and boards you would like to hire
5. Once you have the items in your basket proceed to checkout
6. Select click and collect and an automatic customer notification will be generated once the order has been processed.

1. Bring ID with you to store once slot is confirmed 
2. Easy hire collection process
3. Easy drop of when finished with hire equipment
4. All equipment will be provided sanitised before and after each hire.
5. Wetsuits and accessories will be in a sealed drybag ready for collection and will be expected to be dropped off in the same drybag to minimise contamination

Paying

All payment is encouraged to be completed online via the click and collect option, we will have contactless payment method at the store should this be needed.

Refund Policy

Due to the current circumstances we understand that plans can change. We offer full refunds for bookings that are cancelled 24 hours prior to the booking. Any cancellations made after the 24 hour period will be non-refundable.

Click and collect

All items can be selected online on the hire page and paid for at this point. This will help limit the time at the shop. We will be able to get everything ready for you to collect faster and easier. 

ID

Please bring relevant photographic ID you would need if hiring any equipment in normal circumstances.

Hire period

You can select online the hire period you would like for all of the equipment you need. This can range from 1 day to week long hire. See FAQ’s for more info.

Wetsuits

To help you guys out we have a selected size range available.

Men 

Sizes available for Men will be:

Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large

If you are normally a medium tee shirt this will transfer in to wetsuit size. 

Women

Sizes available for women will be:

06, 08, 10, 12

The women’s wetsuits are done using dress size.  Remember if you are over 5ft 6 with super model legs and normally a size 10 it would be advised to go for the 12 as that will give you the length in the leg that you may need, we don’t want those ankles getting cold!

Juniors

Sizes available for juniors will be:

Age 2, Age 4, Age 6, Age 8, Age 10, Age 12, Age 14, Age 16

With the junior sizes these are done on age so a size 10 is age 10.

Boots

A range of boots will be a available for Men, Women and Juniors.

FAQ’s

How does click and collect work?

Click and collect works by you paying for the items online and then we send a text to confirm we have received the booking and confirm a safe time slot for you to collect from store.

How should the wetsuit fit?

The wetsuit should fit nice and tight you don’t want to be getting cold.  If you are unsure on size and cross between two sizes go for the slightly larger size you don’t want it being too small in length on arms and legs

What size foot am I?

Wetsuit boots are done in normal shoe size. If you are between sizes for example a 6 and a 1/2 then go for smaller 6, you don’t want a boot filling up with water!

How will I collect all the wetsuits and accessories from the store?

The wetsuits will all be in a drybag and will be sanitised before and after each use.  This is to allow you to collect them as safely and as fast as possible.

Returning the wetsuits to the store how do I do it?

The wetsuits should be returned in the same drybag that they were collected in to minimise the contamination from yourselves and the staff.

I have hired a sup will it be inflated?

All of our hire Sup’s will come deflated with a pump and you will need to pump this up yourselves before use.

How long can I hire for?

You can hire for one day and if so the equipment needs to be returned by 5pm on that day.  If you are hiring for 24 hrs then it will be returned 24 hrs from the start of the hire for example 11am to 11am the next day. This is the same if hiring for a 3 day period start the hire at 11am on day one and return on day 3 at 11am.
